Take a trip down memory lane,enjoy racing from a collection of historic cars.
Monday is the best day to go, as that’s when the main races take place.
If we go as a group, with Saab ‘display cars’, The car and driver of the Saab display cars get in free,* provided I tell the organisers in advance;
The car registration, model, colour and the drivers SOC membership number.
Anyone else will have to pay the entry admission charge £21 p.p on the gate.
The entry is via the Main gate on the day, and anyone getting a ‘ticket’ should put it or hold it in view when entering the circuit.

30 mile drive starts in the car park behind the Regency cinema in Marple,you will be provided a route which you follow.The destination is Longnor, here there is a good fish and chip shop, takeaway or sit inside,also The Cheshire Cheese and The Horseshoe which are both 17th century inns are in the village.

The National this year is at Haydock Racecourse,it is a weekend event but most to see and do on the Saturday, entrance fee £8.00 members, non members £12.00(unless you pre book) attractions include, car boot sellers,technical sessions,childrens activities, car painting competition, driving test,and car displays.Meals can be pre booked.
